Arch Kirkwood
CEO & PRESIDENT

He began working for his father, during school vacations, in 1951 and began his full time career in 1958. He purchased Kirkwood Electric, Inc. in 1964. The company grew to one of the largest in Southern California, specializing in design/build contracts. Arch is the fourth generation in his family to be involved in electrical construction and learned at a young age from his father that integrity and long term relationships are vital to success.

Aidan Culligan
Vice President

Bringing over twenty years of experience to the company, Aidan has been a key contributor to the growth and success of A. J. Kirkwood & Associates, Inc.. Maintaining relationships with clients through hard work and integrity, he has allowed A. J. Kirkwood & Associates, Inc. to expand into several new markets.  He also serves as Senior Project Manager on numerous projects, setting a high standard of excellence for all of his peers.

Rick Batten
Chief Financial Officer

Rick has over thirty years of trade and management experience in the construction industry in a wide variety of project types. He progressed up through the trades (journeyman, superintendent), middle management (Project Engineer, Project Manager, Sr. Project Manager), and into upper management (Vice President, President, and CFO). He has earned a five year BS degree in Construction Engineering with a minor in Business and wrote the A.J. Kirkwood Operations Manual. He manages the accounting, IT and HR departments and all aspects of the company's financial relationships.

Gary Fernandez
Vice President

He has over 40 years in the contracting business including, electrical, mechanical and general. Holds a B license in the State of California and has served as General Manager/Partner in Engineered Data Environments, Data Center Design & Development. Served on the management team of Kirkwood / Dyna Electric and was responsible for acquiring over 60 Million in new contracts each year.

Sam Sandoval
Chief Operations Officer

One of AJK&A's most talented and committed leaders. Twenty years of electrical experience has benefited him as he has managed the growth of the company's Special Projects Team. He is a dedicated to his family: two of his children work part time for AJK&A; and daughter Natalie, an electrical engineer works full time in AJK&A's design and engineering department.
