Fire Alarm Journeyman / Voice Data Video Technician

The fire alarm journeyman / voice data technician reports to the Foreman and is responsible for the various aspects of low voltage construction and installation including but not limited to installation of fire alarm systems, wire, circuits, hardware, control panels, support structures (ladder racks, j-hooks, etc.), terminating and dressing distribution frames (patch panels, 66 and/or 110 blocks, etc.) and other equipment.

Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer reports to the Assigned Department Head / President and is to ensure the proper development of all AJK&A electrical designs. This includes engineering, AutoCAD design work, Title 24, Part 6 compliance reviews, short circuit surveys, Arc Flash Studies, and code compliance reviews.

Certified Service Technician

The field service technicians is responsible for serving customers by installing and servicing systems and products. and diagnosing problems and making repairs.

The Electrical Apprentice reports to the Foreman and is responsible for the various aspects of electrical construction including but not limited to installation of switchgear, transformers, feeders, light fixtures, conduit, wire, control panels, and other equipment.

Certified Journeyman

Foreman

The Foreman reports to the Project Manager / Sr. Vice President / Authorized HR Personnel and is to provide the leadership and supervision of electrical construction projects including the installation of switch-gear, transformers, feeders, fixture packages, conduit, wire, control panels, and other equipment. Ensure that the project is completed on time, under budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.

CAD Detailer / BIM Modeler

The Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Operator reports to the CAD Manager and is to perform a variety of design/drafting activities group including preparing/updating installation drawing for projects, preparing assembly/manufacturing drawings, establishing guidelines and procedures for CAD data management, and managing workload distribution within the CAD department.

Estimator

The Estimator reports to the Team Leader / Sponsor and is responsible for accurately estimating labor, material, sub-contractor, and machinery costs associated with electrical construction on a variety of structures ranging from residential, commercial, and industrial applications including low-voltage & fire-alarm systems.

Project Engineer

The Project Engineer is responsible for providing support to the Project through the gathering & disbursement of information to the field and office, the procurement and tracking of all material & purchases, and in balancing and coordinating the activities of a project. This is to ensure cost remains on budget, the schedule remains on time, and document control and quality standards are met. Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Project Engineer is expected to take on any & all tasks in the quest to learn all he/she can about construction and to serve the project team in successfully completing their assigned tasks.
