2211 Michelson

Located in Irvine, California, 2211 Michelson is a 12-story office tower spanning 266,605 square feet, occupying a 1.2-acre site. Positioned in the heart of the Irvine Business Complex, it enjoys a strategic location just two blocks east of John Wayne Airport.

AJK played a pivotal role in this project by handling various installations, including power systems, lighting (which encompassed extensive decorative building-top night lighting), twin 3000 amp bus duct risers, a fire alarm system, smoke evacuation system, voice/data infrastructure, and the construction of a helipad.

Notably, 2211 Michelson holds the distinction of being the first multi-tenant building on the West Coast to achieve Silver-level certification under the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED for Core & Shell rating system.
