NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory

The Flight Electronic Integration Facility (FEIF) was built to provide a centralized hub for the fabrication, assembly, integration, and testing of advanced flight and ground-based electronic hardware and subsystems. Designed to support cutting-edge aerospace research and development, the facility houses specialized spaces for electronic and microelectronic fabrication, hybrid design, multi-chip module production, circuit card and box assembly, and cable and harness manufacturing.

The facility features Class 300K, 100K, and 10K cleanrooms, along with dedicated areas for parts storage, testing, and systems integration to ensure the highest standards of quality and precision. It also includes research laboratories focused on battery technology, thermoelectric power, and prototype development, as well as collaborative office space that brings together multidisciplinary teams to advance innovation, testing, and quality assurance.
