We provided electrical services for a research lab, faculty & student offices, and ADA-compliant restrooms.     The UCI Phase 4B project comprises four 5-story buildings, accommodating a total of 295 student housing units, providing 1,072 beds for continuing undergraduate and transfer students. < Back UCI Phase 4B The UCI Phase 4B project comprises four 5-story wood-framed buildings, accommodating a total of 295 student housing units, providing 1,072 beds for continuing undergraduate and transfer students. Each building features essential amenities such as a central lobby, social lounge, study room, laundry facility, bike storage area, fifth-floor lounge, and communal courtyards. AJK undertook the responsibility for installing power, lighting, fire alarm, and DAS systems for the project. Additionally, each housing unit will be equipped with its own load center, and the project incorporates four electric rooms, one per building, with electrical capacities of 400A, 2500A, and (2) 2000A. Level 1 being a vivarium, level 2 – 6 consist of a combination of a seminar room (level 2), collaborative work areas, labs, faculty offices and cold storage rooms. AJK provided a state-of-the-art electrical infrastructure, ensuring energy efficiency and reliability. Our team installed LED lighting, a robust power distribution system, low voltage infrastructure, and integrated smart controls to enhance building performance. The Susan & Henry Samueli College of Health Sciences includes 63,600 assignable sq. ft. (108,200 gross sq. ft.) of dry research, instructional, student support, as well as academic and administrative office space, including a small food service facility. The Sue & Bill Gross Nursing and Health Sciences Hall includes approximately 43,100 assignable sq. ft. (71,500 gross sq. ft) of instructional space including a clinical skills laboratory; dry research space; student support space; and academic and administrative office space for the School of Nursing. The building has 5 levels. AJK was responsible for providing the complete electrical infrastructure for four new buildings that accommodated students from early childhood through elementary grades. This included power and lighting systems, as well as fire alarm systems. In addition to the building systems, AJK also installed comprehensive site-wide electrical infrastructure, which consisted of new telecommunications duct banks, advanced lighting controls, and full interconnectivity for the fire alarm systems across the entire campus.     Caltech's C.A.S.T. was a renovation of the level 1 interior of the Karman Laboratory building. < Back Caltech - C.A.S.T. The California Institute of Technology C.A.S.T. (Center for Autonomous Systems and Technologies) was a renovation of the level 1 interior of the Karman Laboratory building. It included the replacement of exterior egress stairs and the addition of a canopy cover and observation platform at the existing courtyard. Exterior site work included the replacement of the existing loading dock and courtyard entrance, and nominal site improvements around the building entrance.
