The Wilshire & La Jolla Tower is a mixed-use residential and commercial high-rise structure located at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and La Jolla. < Back Wilshire & La Jolla Tower The Wilshire & La Jolla Tower is a versatile mixed-use high-rise structure situated at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and La Jolla. This development encompasses 112 apartments located above a parking garage, 6,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, along with four levels of above-grade parking. Notable amenities are available on both the sky deck and podium levels. AJK's scope of work included fixture lighting, lighting controls, submetering, bus duct installation, generator setup, switchgear installation, seismic sensing systems, lightning protection, FAA lighting, LADWP slab box, and conduit installation. AJK's low voltage team handled the installation of fire alarm and smoke control systems, voice-data infrastructure, audio-visual equipment, access control systems, CCTV systems (including fire department cameras), Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), area of refuge systems, and Honeywell Lyric Climate Control integration. The new Los Angeles Metro Training & Innovation Center is a facility dedicated to professional development, technical training, and workforce empowerment. < Back Metro Training & Innovation Center The new Los Angeles Metro Training & Innovation Center is a facility dedicated to professional development, technical training, and workforce empowerment. This 14,881 sq. ft. tenant improvement project is located within a newly constructed core and shell building and includes both office space and an adjacent parking structure. The facility features five large, multi-functional rooms designed to serve as flexible conference spaces that accommodate a variety of uses including computer labs, training environments, and professional development programs. AJK was responsible for the full electrical scope of the project, including all power and lighting installations, advanced lighting controls, an inverter system, and the installation of five new electrical panels. In addition to the electrical infrastructure, AJK provided a comprehensive Tele/Data system and managed the complete low voltage scope, including fire alarm, intercom, access control, and integrated security systems. The project presented unique logistical challenges due to the 16-foot deck height and lack of elevator access to the third floor during construction, requiring creative planning and execution by the AJK team to safely deliver all equipment and complete work on schedule. The La Marea Senior Living development is a two-story split-level senior living community designed to accommodate a 24-Hour Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). < Back La Marea Senior Living The La Marea Senior Living development is a two-story split-level senior living community designed to accommodate a 24-Hour Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). It comprises 104 assisted living, life guidance, and memory care units, with various amenities available for residents, including two courtyards, dining rooms, a commercial kitchen, and living and activities rooms. AJK undertook the installation of various essential systems for the facility, including electrical and power systems, tele/data communication infrastructure, CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television), access control systems, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), and AV (audiovisual) systems. The CSUF Visual Arts Complex underwent a comprehensive 110,000-square-foot modernization aimed at revitalizing Buildings A, B, C, and D. < Back CSUF - Visual Arts Complex The California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) Visual Arts Complex underwent a comprehensive 110,000-square-foot modernization aimed at revitalizing Buildings A, B, C, and D. This extensive renovation addressed functional and building code deficiencies, resolved outdated programmatic elements, and significantly extended the facilities' life expectancy by an additional 50 years. Every aspect of the original structures was upgraded or replaced to support modern academic and creative needs. In addition, Building F was demolished to make way for a brand-new, two-story, 13,000-square-foot facility designed to house state-of-the-art technology and teaching spaces, enhancing the university’s ability to support contemporary arts education. AJK was responsible for the complete installation of electrical and power systems, lighting, fire alarm system, telecommunications, and low-voltage systems throughout the complex. The scope also included audiovisual infrastructure and access control, ensuring that the upgraded and new buildings are equipped with advanced, integrated systems to support a dynamic and flexible learning environment.
