The work included renovation of the front entry, event lawn, lobby renovation, added coffee bar and lounge, a new 3,000 sq. ft. event space, fitness facility, new construction of the Great Room with bar and terrace, private VIP mebers club, a new 2,500 sq. ft. pool and spa with cabanas, pool bar, and event lawn. The ground-up construction of the 15-story Marriott Hotel features 271 guestrooms, of which 50 are suites. < Back Marriott Irvine Spectrum The ground-up construction of the 15-story Marriott Hotel features 271 guestrooms, of which 50 are suites. The Irvine Spectrum Marriott provides a guest experience unique to the Irvine Spectrum. The hotel features a restaurant, a rooftop bar, an outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and Starbucks. Additional scope included 7 meeting rooms which equaled 18,000-sq.ft of total meeting space. The hotel won Marriott's "Hotel Opening of the Year" award in 2018. The Regent Santa Monica Beach Hotel project was a high-end transformation project that reimagined one of Southern California’s premier coastal destinations. < Back Regent Santa Monica Beach The Regent Santa Monica Beach Hotel project was a high-end transformation project that reimagined one of Southern California’s premier coastal destinations. The project expanded significantly in scope to enhance guest amenities and modernize critical infrastructure across the property. The renovation encompassed a wide range of spaces, including the lobby, restaurant, spa, fitness center, pool deck, grab-and-go café, porte-cochère, and meeting areas, each designed to deliver a seamless blend of comfort, functionality, and elevated guest experience. AJK was responsible for the full electrical scope of the project, including power distribution, lighting systems, and advanced lighting controls. Our team installed high-end designer fixtures throughout the property and integrated a customized lighting control system to support both performance and ambiance. In addition, AJK completed fire alarm upgrades, implemented low voltage infrastructure to support audio/visual and building systems, and installed emergency lighting and EV charging infrastructure. The UCLA Nimoy Theater project was a historic renovation to convert the historic Crest Theatre, first opened in 1940, into the Nimoy Theater for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). < Back UCLA Nimoy Theater The UCLA Nimoy Theater renovation includes 150 permanent seats on risers and a flexible ground-floor seating area that can accommodate an additional 299 seats in various configurations. The restoration preserved many of the theater's original art deco-inspired features, such as the historic marquee, light fixtures, decorative columns, and wall-mounted interior decorative pylons.
