The 909 is a new state-of-the-art food hall at YAAMAVA Resort & Casino at San Manuel. < Back The 909 Sports Bar + Food Hall The 909 is a new state-of-the-art food hall at YAAMAVA Resort & Casino at San Manuel. The establishment features 78 seats for bar-top gaming with wall-to-wall LEDs. A wall feature including 150+ screens spanning 50 ft. wide and 12 ft. tall provides the ultimate viewing experience. AJK installed new power panels and feeders throughout the space and 15 new floor boxes to new and relocated slot banks. All new RGBW lighting was furnished and installed throughout the space. New 6" beverage lines from the beer and liquor coolers were installed to each of the 3 bar locations. The routing for the beverage lines were overhead and underneath the level one ceiling space and stubbed up into the bar area. All new CAT-5 and fiber optic cabling was installed to each of the new slot machines within the bars along with cabling for all new speakers. FO cable was installed to many screens in the venue space. Throughout the active casino floor, all new 144 strand fiber, spanning 1,312 feet was furnished and installed. A challenging aspect of the project was all of the work was done in an active casino and a majority of the work was done amongst the public. Casa Dorinda is a historic senior living community on 48 acres in Montecito and is the only senior retirement campus in the community. < Back Casa Dorinda Casa Dorinda is a distinguished senior living community nestled on 48 acres in Montecito, serving as the exclusive senior retirement campus in the area, offering a comprehensive range of LifeCare services. This encompasses Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing, all seamlessly integrated within the community. The Casa Dorinda Bliss Expansion project comprised several sub-projects, including the construction of a new Independent Living (IL) complex featuring three buildings, the addition of ten new villas, the extension of a two-story wing to the existing Personal Care (PCU)/Memory Care (MCU) building, and the creation of a new restaurant. AJK was responsible for the installation of power and lighting for the entire expansion initiative. The Independent Living complex involved the construction of three buildings, totaling 11 units, situated atop a new parking garage podium. The villa construction encompassed the development of nine individual single-story villas and one single-story duplex. In the case of the Personal Care/Memory Care building, the addition of the new two-story wing brought forth 21 additional personal/memory care living units and new communal spaces. The existing Personal Care/Memory Care buildings underwent remodeling and partial repurposing to align with the new wing's design. Lastly, the Resident Grill, a new 4,400 square foot restaurant, was introduced at the heart of the Casa Dorinda campus. The hotel offers 173 finely appointed guest rooms, a full-service restaurant, a banquet hall, meeting spaces, and a rooftop bar with panoramic views of the iconic Santa Anita Racetrack. Spanning a total of 138,000 square feet, the development merges modern luxury with functional design across two integrated structures. The revitalization of the existing building breathes new life into the property, while the newly constructed tower enhances the skyline of Arcadia with its contemporary architecture. AJK is proud to contribute to the success of this landmark project. Our scope of work includes the installation and integration of the public safety Distributed Antenna System (DAS), a comprehensive fire alarm system, and complete power and lighting infrastructure. In addition, AJK is responsible for implementing advanced lighting controls to enhance energy efficiency, ambiance, and guest comfort throughout the hotel. The renovated building will feature state-of-the-art amenities, including lighting, lighting controls, theater lighting, sound recording rooms, photography labs, ceramic labs, theater arts classrooms, and a performance theater. Through this project, Cypress College Fine Arts aims to create a dynamic and conducive environment for artistic expression and education. The primary objective is to modernize and enhance the facilities to accommodate various fine arts programs. This includes seismic upgrades to the concrete structure, installation of metal framing, exposed T-bar ceilings, and decorative paneling. Additionally, electrical upgrades such as rigid conduit, EMT, and MV switches will be implemented, along with the installation of a 1500kVA 4160V/480V transformer. The project also involves reworking existing MV intercepts, relocating duct banks, and installing new MV and LV switchgear. The building houses language arts, career technology education, computer and office studies, the student success center, and student success and support programs. The project consisted of the demolition of the existing "M" and "N" buildings and the design and construction of the new building "M". AJK extended/reworked medium voltage circuits and fiber optic cabling for the new building. New switchgear and inverters were also installed. New lighting and lighting controls were installed to the interior and exterior of the building. Our low voltage team installed structured cabling, audio visual infrastructure, public safety and cell DAS, and assisted with the design and partial installation of access control lockdown system.
