< Our Team Henry Gutierrez Executive Vice President Henry started as an electrical apprentice at ABC in 1998 and earned a Foreman title by the time he graduated in 2002. He ran projects for 10+ years before transitioning into the office as a Project Manager in 2012. With his work ethic and proficiency as a leader, he transitioned from PM to Sr. PM, then to Sponsor/Operations Manager, Senior Vice President, and currently Executive Vice President. His project experience ranges from Mixed-Use to Higher Education and everything in between. As an Executive Vice President, Henry oversees the Field Development of our company while maintaining his Sponsor/Operations Manager commitments.

Professor Chung's research heavily relies on autonomous systems so the labs were built to include the Spacecraft Assembly Lab and the Spacecraft Simulation Facility in the basement and sub-basement of the Karman Laboratories. The newly constructed 4-story permanent supportive housing building comprises 72 residential units, ground-level office space, a laundry room, a community room, a staff lounge, and a gym/exercise room on the second floor. < Back Salvation Army Center of Hope The Salvation Army Center of Hope campus features various facilities, including an emergency shelter, a 72-bed supportive housing unit, a wellness center, a 175-bed drug rehabilitation center, and a research and innovation center—a first for the organization. This campus serves as the central point for an innovative approach to homelessness, guiding individuals from shelter to permanent housing, employment, rehabilitation, and sobriety, ultimately facilitating their full reintegration into society. The newly constructed 4-story permanent supportive housing building comprises 72 residential units, ground-level office space, a laundry room, a community room, a staff lounge, and a gym/exercise room on the second floor. In terms of infrastructure, AJK undertook the interception and rerouting of the APU utility primary feeder conduit, installed various components including pull boxes, vaults, solar light poles, building wall packs, light poles, bollards, EV stations, lighting for building signs, and porte cochere lighting. Inside the main building, AJK established three electrical rooms and distribution boards equipped with integrated metering. The primary electrical room features a 2500 277/480V main service by EATON. Additionally, AJK implemented a lighting inverter, the nLight lighting control system, raceways for future rooftop solar systems, and handled all indoor lighting and power requirements. AJK was also responsible for the installation of network cabling for voice/data, Wi-Fi, data, trim, IDF build-out, and the security system. Furthermore, we managed the design and installation of the fire alarm system, DAS (Distributed Antenna System), and the 2-way communication system as part of this project. It was transformed into a state-of-the-art theater that seats 500 guests. Adjacent to the transformed post office is a new structure that features a 150-seat studio theater with three classrooms for a theater school for young people, a donor lounge, production support services spaces, administrative offices, a cafe, and a gift shop. AJK installed power & lighting, fire alarm system, voice/data, audio visual, and security system. The Perla is a 35-story building encompassing 450 residential units atop a podium structure, which accommodates parking facilities and approximately 7,000 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor. < Back Perla on Broadway Perla on Broadway, situated at the southeast corner of 4th Street and Broadway, is notable as the Historic Core's inaugural new residential high-rise construction in over a century. This 35-story building encompasses 450 residential units atop a podium structure, which accommodates parking facilities and approximately 7,000 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor. The property features one level of below-grade parking and six levels of above-grade parking, providing a total of 444 parking stalls. AJK was responsible for the installation of various systems, including power systems, lighting, fire alarm systems, smoke control systems, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), telecommunication and data infrastructure, audio-visual systems, and a comprehensive security package that includes access control, CCTV, and an intercom system. Located in the Arts District in Los Angeles, Alloy is a mixed-use development. < Back Alloy Located in the Arts District in Los Angeles, Alloy is a mixed-use development. The development features a striking combination of a 6-story office tower and a 35-story residential tower, unified by a shared three-story podium. This podium is designed with versatility and efficiency in mind, incorporating three below-grade parking levels, two above-grade parking floors, and space for approximately 735 vehicle stalls. The ground floor is dedicated to mixed-use purposes, including 20,000 square feet of retail space, six live/work units, service areas, and building lobbies and leasing areas. The office tower spans approximately 105,000 square feet and offers a sleek, modern workspace. It includes a ground-floor lobby and shell and core office spaces on floors 2 through 6, with mechanical space situated on the roof. The residential tower boasts 475 units, with its own ground-floor lobby and leasing areas, and a dedicated third-floor amenity space. Residential units occupy floors 4 through 34, providing extensive living options and additional amenity areas. This project’s unique combination of residential, commercial, and retail spaces, along with substantial parking and amenity provisions, makes it a comprehensive and dynamic addition to the urban landscape.
